Swami Prasad Maurya has unveiled his new political venture, the 'Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party', ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, announcing it during an event at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. During the program, Maurya made controversial remarks about the BJP, accusing them of using religion, particularly the issue of Ram Temple, for political gains.

Swami Prasad Maurya said that government property has been given to industrialists, BJP is looting in the name of Ram. This is an insult to Ram, who gives birth to everyone. PM Modi went to pay his respects. So was Ram lifeless? He can deceive even God. He said that Kanshiram wanted to build the India of Emperor Ashoka's dreams, we will take any kind of risk to make his dream come true.

On the issue of farmers' agitation, Swami Prasad Maurya said that the government which promised double the benefits is today lathi-charged on the demand of MSP. Farmers should not agitate, they want to silence them by feeding them religion.
